A Day In The Life
As said before, this is a final converted from a photography project to a video project. The driving scenes are 4x speed. At some points I was up to 105mph. I was politely "walked out" of Kohls because they were crept out by me walking around the store with a camera, so I went back in with the camera under my arm. The inspiration for the change from the studio version to the 'lounge version' of Incubus's "Certain Shade of Green" came from the convenience store scene in the film "Grosse Pointe Blank." I wanted the film to have a very music video sort of feel, rather than relying on myself to come up with 11 minutes of soliloquy. I always get a kick out of the elevator music shift at the gas station. The attempts at "authentic" sounding music coming from the iPod headphones and the record player was engineered. The record player doesn't have a strobe, so there was no continuity in the speed when I took the recorded audio and tried to sync it into a transfer to the M4A rip from the CD, so I made the audio sound like it came from a record player instead.
