A 15-minute romp based on a comic essay of the '50s by Lionel Hale that imagines theatrical sabotage by bit-part actors in British productions of Shakespeare plays. Presented with theatrical photographs, largely taken of Shakespeare & Co productions, Lennox, MA, and narration by Bob Kuhn, a Boston-area voiceover artist. The story traces the 'history' of the 'strike' from its origins at a production of Merchant of Venice in a prep school, through a variety of productions in England and Wales, to a crescendo in a production of Macbeth in London. With a coda in Hamlet.
