The Skys Gone Out
Submitted by GraphicQuarter on Fri, 02/12/2010 - 10:30
The Sky's Gone out is a tale of alienation in the modern industrialized world, that dampens the very things that give life to a soul. The world is becoming a machine, both in it's mechanical presence and the way in which we live our lives within it. Culture, nature and purpose are being replaced and eradicated. This film follows the thoughts of one person who recognises this... but is it too late? Inspired by 1970s inner city housing and a hatred of celebrity driven reality TV, The Sky's Gone Out is a proclamation of what we may become.
The film was shot over 6 months in multiple locations, from countryside to council estates and town centres at 4 a.m.
