Student Music Video to "Ladyhawke - My Delirium"

A music video I made to the song My Delirium by Ladyhawke in which i incorporated the psychological connotations of the title into the state of mind of the protagonist by using repeated images, settings and colour schemes. My first paving stone into my (hopeful) film-making career.

There isn't really an interesting story behind the reasons of making the music video as it was a requirement of my A2 media studies course. However, the requirement was to work in a group, but I insisted on working alone to get sole responsibility of the directing and editing to make sure I incorporated my own unique style. This paid off as I was awarded the Best Music Video award at Peter Symonds College, Winchester 2010. I believe this was my first fully creative piece in which I can come back to in the future and show this is what started my passion for film-making. The locations I used in the music video were used to highlight the isolation of the protagonist that would in the end convey the meaning behind the lyrics of the song. This was a very fun piece to shoot as I had complete control and I enjoyed every moment of making my first original piece (minus the song) and I hope to keep my skills consistent in (hopefully) many more films to come.
