Raisin' Junior Masterpiece Theatre
Submitted by RaisinJunior on Thu, 01/13/2011 - 10:30
Don Swainer and Lester Klunk are NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s two biggest fans. They're on a mission to 'raise' Junior's profile to make him the most gigantic star in the whole world. Here, the boys present an acclaimed production via Masterpiece Theatre to get their message out 'bout Junior. More of their adventures can be found here http://www.youtube.com/user/raisinjunior.
Shot mostly in front of a green screen, though were lucky enough to film with one of the original General Lee's from the Dukes of Hazzard TV series. Director Guy Norman Bee sat in as the balladeer, and sponges were used to make Don Swainer/Luke Duke's underarm sweat look ridiculous. In finale of film, Lester Klunk/Bo Duke does actually eat real mayonnaise, though the director offered to replace with pudding.
