Based on a short tale by russian writer, Leonid Andreiev, about the weird story if a man who suddenly wakes up on a grave. The film is a little satire of the Catholic Church and the belief the Devil is a powerful, supernatural male entity. Agaist the "Devil is male" idea , this devil is an evil and pretty lady, dress in shiny red, that has to find a way to get the man into Hell. The Devil enjoys the usual supernatural powers that make her transcend the dimensions of time and space. She can move instantaneously to great distances, the future and the past are only a walk away. She can read minds and take possession of whatever she wants. When she comes down to Earth, she can borrow any disguise but remains strangely a fashion victim. Althoug her power, she needs the man make up his mind between HELL or Nothing.
