Do we ever really know our parent? Who they are or what they’re thinking? Brian desperately wants to connect with his elderly father Sid. Sid, however is oblivious to his son’s needs and as the two move through the 1940’s styled home, Brian decides he must go to extreme measures if is father is to take notice of him. Sid, however, is deaf to the World around him. Slowly moving through memories and music, the cornet solo of his youth is the soundtrack to his days. Brian longs to hear the same solo, feeling this will enable him to connect with his Father. However, wisdom comes at a heavy price as Brian soon discovers, in this poignant and moving story.

The crew worked for free. They previously worked on daytime television shows, but wanted a new challenge.
